As a soon to be graduate of the Central College Teacher Education program, I have had a plethora of practicum opportunities and experiences. These have given me a chance to apply all that I have learned in and out of the classroom in a real school setting.
This portfolio includes samples of my work. They are listed as they fit into the Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) as stated by the Central College Education Department. A general outline of each SLO is given below.
SLO 1 - Knowledge of latest content, legal and ethic issues and research in education
SLO 2 - Use of effective communication
SLO 3 - Characteristics of students and effective teaching strategies for all
SLO 4 - Use of assessment in the classroom
SLO 5 - Use of technology in the classroom
SLO 6 - Behavior and Classroom Management strategies in the classroom
This portfolio also includes the Teaching Dispositions as given by Central College. For your viewing, I have also included an unofficial transcript, reference letters, and my resume.
